"Pescando el momento" (Fishing a moment) is an initiative from COBI and fishing community members led by Arturo Hernández to capture incredible moments of the community's daily life and livelihoods, where the photographers are the community members! Photography and videography courses are currently taking place, so they can develop the knowledge and skills to be producers and creators of the image of their own community!

The Mexican Institute of Ophthalmology (IMO) is a leading medical, educational, and research centre. The IMO is dedicated to closing the divide in ophthalmology and promoting equal medical services. Through accessible care and groundbreaking research, the organization seeks to enhance our understanding of the field and uplift the health of all people. As a research mentor and epidemiologist, I'm helping IMO students and researchers design their studies and analyze their data.
